Strategic Card Battler

Tetrarchon is a server-authoritative, turn-based 1v1 strategy game that blends classical card battling with tactical area control.

While the shuffle and the elemental weather bring variety, combat is 100% deterministic. There are no dice rolls or damage ranges. Battles are immediately resolved after assignment and attack.

The Battlefield

The board is not just a visual aid—it is the game. Controlling the terrain means controlling the game.

The board is a diamond-shaped web of interconnected zones where positioning dictates survival.

At the cardinal points lie the four Elemental Thrones—the ultimate objectives. However, you must first capture the tactical Flank zones to cut off enemy supply lines and break the Throne's defensive bonuses. Every unit deploys from your Gate, a staging ground that connects to the wider battlefield.

Key Mechanics

  • Simultaneous Combat: You and your opponent lock in moves at the same time. Resolutions happen instantly. Predict your opponent's strike before they make it.
  • The Elemental Surge: A global weather system rotates every few turns (Fire → Earth → Water → Air). Time your attacks to match the Surge for +2 Might and explosive power.
  • Deterministic Damage: Combat is threshold-based. If your Might is higher than their Resilience, they die. Simple math, complex decisions.
  • Tactical Keywords: Use Ambush to strike first on Flanks, or Siege units to crack fortified Thrones.

Extensive Tutorial Campaign

Tetrarchon includes a fully guided campaign that teaches you the mechanics through play, not rulebooks.

Your journey begins in the Proving Grounds, where you master the geometry of movement and flanking manoeuvres. From there, you will learn to expand rapidly using Mercenaries, crack fortified positions by timing the Elemental Surge, and finally master the economy of Sacrifice in a full-scale battle against the AI.

Shape the Game (Gameplay Prototype)

This is an early public Gameplay Prototype focused on testing the core combat loop.

I am a solo developer, and I read every single piece of feedback.

This game is in active development. Features like Deckbuilding and Multiplayer are on the roadmap, but I want to build them with you, not for you. I want to improve it and make it better, so I need your feedback.

Use the Feedback Form inside the game menu. Your ideas will directly influence the next update. Get in touch! That's why I the game is out so early.

Currently Desktop Browser only. Singleplayer vs. AI (PvE).

Missing Features: Multiplayer and Deckbuilding are currently disabled, but are in active development
